The wait is over #ConeMonkeys,
M Gymkhana® will be back at it again on Jan. 28th at Auto Club Speedway with it’s first event on the 2017 Calendar. For 2017 we will be hosting our normal MGX Days, but will also be supporting a Southern and Northern California Championship Competitions (sponsored by KTM of North America and Avon Tyres of North America), which will include a HEAD-to-HEAD format at each round of competition in an elimination style points scoring system!!! In addition to all of the regular Motogymkhana action, M Gymkhana® will also be running the #2017MGymkhanaWC (World Competition) as well, which has competitors participating from over 11 countries!!!
For the first event of the year, come out and get a taste of what to expect for the rest of 2017.
This year we will not be providing maps (pre-event) for MGX Day Sessions, if you want to see what you can expect, you can always take a look at some courses from 2016. In order to really understand how much fun it is to ride a Motogymkhana course…. come to the events and ride the courses for yourself to get first hand experience, see how challenging and how different this type of riding is. Become a better rider with your friends and family, have a great time and see what you’re actually capable of doing on a motorcycle!!!!
Concentrate on technique and improve your, inputs, trust and feel in your tires, relaxation, trail braking, head turn, line choice, vision, smooth and aggressive throttle. Then ride hard, be quick, incorporate all that has been learned throughout the day and put the skills into action on course!
Course are very challenging, but extremely fun and you will definitely be a better rider when you leave at the end of the day!!!
